Why we’re excited to be festival partners at the LCRIG Innovation & Learning Festival 2026
When we joined LCRIG, we knew we didn’t want to just sit quietly in the background as another passive member.
The highways sector is under real pressure right now. Local authorities are being asked to do more with less, modernise ageing systems, improve communication, adopt AI and somehow still keep everything moving. That’s a huge ask.
At the same time, technology is moving incredibly quickly. AI is already changing how software is built and how services operate. Some of that is exciting, some of it is disruptive and a lot of organisations are still trying to work out what it actually means in the real world.
That’s why events like the LCRIG Innovation & Learning Festival matter.
They bring together people who genuinely care about improving the sector, sharing ideas and solving practical problems rather than just talking about innovation for the sake of it.
We decided to become a Festival Partner because we wanted to properly support both LCRIG and the wider sector. Yes, it gives us an opportunity to showcase our software and launch OneView Licensing, but we could have done that with a normal stand. This was about contributing to something bigger and helping create an event people actually want to spend time at.
So alongside launching new software, we’re also creating a comfortable space where people can sit down, network, catch up, have lunch and escape either the blistering sun or, more likely, the pouring rain.
Because good conversations matter.
We’re also really excited to be launching OneView Licensing at the Festival.
OneView Licensing has been built specifically for the highways sector and includes both map based and form based licence applications within the Free OneView platform. The aim is simple: better visibility, simpler processes and software that actually reflects the operational reality local authorities deal with every day.
We believe councils deserve better software, faster deployment and systems that evolve as quickly as the challenges around them. We also believe access to better operational visibility and coordination tools should not always come with another major software cost attached, which is why OneView is free.
If you’re attending the Festival, come and see us at Stand 24. Whether you want to talk about AI, highways, network coordination or licensing, we’d love to see you.
